No, what's cool about this is that all the gear on there is actually real military hardware.  Nothing that would be my first choice if I had to kill someone, naturally, but this stuff is for real.  The magazine pouches are from the old Soviet Union.  My younger brother bought a Mosin-Nagant rifle and it came with a bunch of cool stuff like a real bayonet and these pouches.  Since he has no stripper clips nor desire to join a militia, he's willing to let me use them on my costume.  I think the canteen is from the Czech Republic, I forget.  I picked it up in the military surplus section of a Fleet Farm.  It was the most 40K looking canteen that they had available, and at the convention I'll be able to use it as an actual water bottle.  How neat is that?
